Born on January 11th 2013. 22oz "bomber" poured into a pint glass. Hey, for $2.19, I decided to try it out.

Appearance: Typical amber color ... EXTREMELY clear. Decent head that goes away quickly. Obviously, no lacing.

Smell: Actually not TOO horrible... a bit of adjuncts in the aroma, but mostly a low-quality malt. I was surprised I didn't hate it. A bit of sweetness as well.

Taste: Tastes not at all like I thought it would... holy HELL is it sweet. It's not awful, but Jesus. Adjunct flavors came through a lot in the beginning. Lots of sweetness, corn, low-quality malts. A woody taste comes through as well. After taste is of cheap malt, but it's inoffensive.

Not the worst beer I've ever had, but bleh. It is what it is... for the price, it's good to get cheap drunk. It's certainly better than Budweiser, but not by much. There's a lot of sweetness, so I expect a lot of adjunct fans to fall in love with this.

12 oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Born on Jan 08, 2013.

A - Pours a golden amber body. One finger of white foam dissipates quickly leaving behind zero head.

S - Sweet corn, touch of malt. Not sure what else, just predominantly sweet.

T - Again with the sweet corn. Finishes nearly dry with a lingering stale bready malt flavor. Not bad actually.

M - Thin but spritzy.

O - Not as bad as I was expecting. An improvement over standard Bud and the Platinum, but I won't be buying this again.

Appearance has a light golden brown color supporting a dissipating head leaving nill lace. Smell of the adjuncts within a Bud but also having a sweetness of the malt. Taste has a Budwieser, adjuncty, malt infused sweetness. Mouthfeel is light with fair carbonation. I mainly got this beer do to curiosity, one bottle is all thats needed, no need for a half rack.

12 oz. bottle "born on" date of 3/5/13, consumed 5/11/13.

Into a pint glass, a clear pale amber color with one finger of off white head. Quick fade to a thin cap. Nose is overly sweet and grassy. Taste faintly of malt alcohol, no real hopiness. Taste is not as sweet as nose, thankfully. Faint alcohol note on finish. Mouth is a bit thin and bubbly, OK. Overall: Rather mediocre, not terrible, kind of what I'd imagine as a sub-par example of pub ale, except it's 6% ABV so it's not exactly a "session" beer. I wouldn't buy another but wouldn't turn one down either.

A: poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass, I'll put the bottle opener up since it's a twistie, pours a copper color with a short white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing, clear

S: sweet slightly boozy corn mash, sugary, maybe caramel

T: sweet, sweet, sweet, slight malt, mostly sugar, no hops, no depth of flavor, I don't like this

M: overly carbonated, watery, soda like, I can't tell the alcohol is there, the finish is as always clean

O: if you want to buy something from Budweiser get a plain ol Bud diesel, there is a reason it will be around long after Black Crown is gone, this beer is too much like a sweet beer flavored soda, it's trying to be a bock but falls short on all areas
