Born on January 11th 2013. 22oz "bomber" poured into a pint glass. Hey, for $2.19, I decided to try it out.

Appearance: Typical amber color ... EXTREMELY clear. Decent head that goes away quickly. Obviously, no lacing.

Smell: Actually not TOO horrible... a bit of adjuncts in the aroma, but mostly a low-quality malt. I was surprised I didn't hate it. A bit of sweetness as well.

Taste: Tastes not at all like I thought it would... holy HELL is it sweet. It's not awful, but Jesus. Adjunct flavors came through a lot in the beginning. Lots of sweetness, corn, low-quality malts. A woody taste comes through as well. After taste is of cheap malt, but it's inoffensive.

Not the worst beer I've ever had, but bleh. It is what it is... for the price, it's good to get cheap drunk. It's certainly better than Budweiser, but not by much. There's a lot of sweetness, so I expect a lot of adjunct fans to fall in love with this.

Appearance: Flat Bud Diesel. Decent carbonation and a shade darker than its father. No lacing.

Smell: Sweet caramel. I actually enjoy the smell quite a bit. Too one note though.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Bold malt liquor flavor upfront with a bland, slightly grassy finish. Mouthfeel is flat as far as carbonation, but has enough body overall.

Overall Drinkability: If an adjunct and an amber gave birth to a malt liquor, this would be it.

22oz bottle split and poured into a snifter. Born on 01May13.

A: Pours a clear amber with a one finger mostly white head that sticks around for two minutes or so. No real lacing. Very little visible carbonation.

S: Light tone of pale malts and macro lager. Aroma is quite subdued which I guess is a bonus for cheaper beers.

T: Similar to a Budweiser but with a more evened out malt. Not sure if the beechwood really comes through as much more than a devise to smooth out the flavor. Turns a bit sweet as it warms.

M: Light to medium body with fairly low carbonation. Pretty clean finish which helps its drinkability.

Overall I like it more than the original Budweiser and think it has a good position in the macro beer market. Don't mind seeing the big guys being "crafty" when they keep the same brand name.
