Drunk at Frankfurt airport in germany.
Pours a clear pale color with a medium top of white head that dissolves rapidly.
Aroma is of light malts, grains, grass and some herbs. The taste is grassy and grainy with some light malt notes in the back and some herbal hop notes in the finish. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean with a medium carbonation and medium body.
Normal Pilsener.

Lots of people in Germany told me this is a below average beer, but I can't complain too much about it. It's simple and enjoyable, especially drinking one (or two) while sitting next to the Main.

Binding-Brauerei AG “Binding Römer Pils”
,5L can, “Mindestens haltbar bis Ende: 06.20”
3,25 @ Casualfood GmbH, Frankfurt Airport Center 1, Frankfurt, DE
Typical Pils appearance; better than average head retention and lacing. Limited generic “beer” aroma. Better flavor with a solid bitterness and dry finish but still dull in both malt and hops. What’s there is spicy and herbal, coming from hop extract. Medium to medium-light in body and appropriately crisp. Overall: acceptable but far from interesting.

From the bottle, it pours a lovely clear golden yellow with a modest white head that soon diminishes to a ring. In the nose, bready with a touch of hops. In the mouth, it is smooth and creamy with a light malt taste and a little bitterness. Drinkable but not outstanding.

Nothing that makes this average pils stand out. Close you eyes and it tastes like every other budget pils.

Bought a bottle at the Hesse Shop at Frankfurt airport in a gift set with porcelain mug and coaster. Poured into said mug, slight head and nice orange appearance. Not much of an aroma but subtle taste of bananas and malt. I could drink this all day, great session beer. Not that heavy, good balance of heat, malt and hops. I drank a lot of good beers in Germany (Stuttgart and Frankfurt areas) this week and this is one I would stock in my fridge for everyday drinking or tailgating at the Commerzbank Arena watching Die Adler. Good, solid ale.

I live in Germany and living in the Frankfurt area, this beer is very common. If you see a group of rowdy 50 year olds at a tram stop in Frankfurt, a good bet is a least a couple of them are drinking this.
Poured from a 0.33 liter bottle into a tapered pilsner glass. Body is crystal clear with a straw to pale gold color, white head, little lacing. Aroma is not big, maybe a hops and grain. Taste is dry, good bitterness, not overly carbonated, bitterness lingers. Feel is what you expect in a pilsner, I would call it crisp.
Overall, nothing special. One of the better German Pilsners in my limited experience. I like the bitterness and for an evening after work beer - it is simple and refreshing.
