Poured from a bomber into a pint glass. Reviewed live. Don't know what to expect. I know little of the brewery and less of the beer.

A- Two finger cream colored head, some banana color. Long retention. Like two minutes and still at an inch. Lovely thick lacing and nice density in the head. Medium amber color with semi-clarity. This is as nice a looking IPA as I can remember seeing.

S- Citrusy hops and an extremely crisp and appealing scent of Braeburn apples. Lovely, light and fruity. The hops are subtle but pleasant.

T- Light cidery flavor with a tad of hop oil in the finish. Balances the hops well for an American IPA and does not come off as too abrasive. A touch of alcohol really reigns it in nicely. Bitter finish.

M- Heavier, almost syrupy. Avoids being gross though, with a cloudy sort of feel. Could be improved, but nice and dry on the finish.

O- Mouthfeel could use work, but the appearance, smell and taste are all wonderful.

Note: had immediately upon waking up, shortly after brushing teeth (had to catch a flight)... not a review for others as much as a reminder for myself to give this beer another shot if the chance ever presents itself.
- Not impressed. Malt overbearing- not balanced well with hops. Hops that are present are unremarkable- mild bitter nothingness. Not much going on this beer.

22oz bottle, very cartoonish lettering on the label.

This beer pours a clear, medium copper amber hue, with three fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and yet somewhat bubbly eggshell white head, which leaves some layered snow rime lace around the glass as things duly sink away.

It smells of sharp, biscuity caramel malt, white grapefruit rind and dried orange peel, leafy, and kind of metallic mint, sugary tropical fruit, and a bit of astringent pine needle. The taste is more rounded in its maltiness, with a blend of bready, doughy, and caramel notes, a still rather tart grapefruit-led citrus fruitiness, still edgy mint notes, reduced exotic fruit, and a wavering pine/leafy/herbal acridity.

The carbonation is fairly serene in its lilting frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, smooth as a biggish IPA can be, and even a little creamy, mostly of the aerated sort. It finishes off-dry, the bready caramel malt not dropping off a whit, while the various hop esters bump heads, jostling for position on my palate.

Overall, a tasty enough Yankee IPA, though the large dive from the nose to the flavour was a certain let-down. Re-righted, all is well, as the alcohol does well to keep its nose clean, and the simplicity of a heretofore complicated hoppy ale reveals itself to me - Imma gonna enjoy the rest of this bomber.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops with light piney notes is pretty refreshing. Taste is also a mix between some citrusy hops with nice floral undertones, some light piney notes and some light caramel malt notes with a dry finish and light bitter notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Good Northern West Coast IPA.

22 oz bottle. Pours clear copper gold with a big creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet bready malts with some minty, leafy, piney hops.

The flavor is sweet earthy malts with a big resiny, slightly tarry, bitterness with a little fruit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, decent IPA. I'm not a huge fan of the hop profile.

Pours a honey color amber with golden yellow hues. Hazy and with an eggshell color head of creamy foam. Bubbles make their way to the top. Delicate and herbal nose. A bit of grapefruit rind, Sugary malt. A bit of pine and as it warms some honey comes forward. The taste is weak. Woody, sugary and very earthy. Not at lal what I was expecting. The grapefruit was weak and overall the beer does not have enough flavor. Thinnnish body. Herbal and like weeds. Drinks better as it warms as the malt comes forward a bit with some strangely out of place caramel. A dry soapy taste at one point. There is a strange and sickly sweet fruit backnote and a conspicuous lack of hop bitter. I mean there's none at all.

I would call this one lacluster and lacking flavor. Earth is the dominant flavor in this one until it warms and then becomes like a sweet light juice punch. It was like a hodgepodge of flavors and none seemed to be working together or to compliment one another. The lack of hop bitter makes this one drink blandly albeit sweetly after it warns.
