A: Purchased this at By the bottle in Vancouver. Pours a clear orange color with good sized head.
S: Smell is very citrusy, grapefruit, tangerine. Slight bit of caramel malt.
T: Slight malt up front followed by big citrusy hop bite at the end.
M: Medium bodied, carbonation feels about right to me.
O: This is a really good IPA, glad I picked this up.

22 oz bottle. Pours clear copper gold with a big creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet bready malts with some minty, leafy, piney hops.

The flavor is sweet earthy malts with a big resiny, slightly tarry, bitterness with a little fruit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, decent IPA. I'm not a huge fan of the hop profile.

22oz bottle, very cartoonish lettering on the label.

This beer pours a clear, medium copper amber hue, with three fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and yet somewhat bubbly eggshell white head, which leaves some layered snow rime lace around the glass as things duly sink away.

It smells of sharp, biscuity caramel malt, white grapefruit rind and dried orange peel, leafy, and kind of metallic mint, sugary tropical fruit, and a bit of astringent pine needle. The taste is more rounded in its maltiness, with a blend of bready, doughy, and caramel notes, a still rather tart grapefruit-led citrus fruitiness, still edgy mint notes, reduced exotic fruit, and a wavering pine/leafy/herbal acridity.

The carbonation is fairly serene in its lilting frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, smooth as a biggish IPA can be, and even a little creamy, mostly of the aerated sort. It finishes off-dry, the bready caramel malt not dropping off a whit, while the various hop esters bump heads, jostling for position on my palate.

Overall, a tasty enough Yankee IPA, though the large dive from the nose to the flavour was a certain let-down. Re-righted, all is well, as the alcohol does well to keep its nose clean, and the simplicity of a heretofore complicated hoppy ale reveals itself to me - Imma gonna enjoy the rest of this bomber.

22oz bomber served in imperial pint glass. Poured carefully to avoid disturbing what looks like significant sediment on this one. Beer pours as a big hazy orange with a very thin white head and big bubbles rapidly rising towards the surface. Huge citrus aroma of orange and grapefruit. NW-style IPA C-hops anyone? Flavor is similarly hop-forward and bitter. More citrus on the tongue with notes of grass. Tartness is accentuated by the relatively heavy carbonation. Finish is on the drier side, but there's obviously some malt here.

A very average example of NW IPA. Showcases centennial hops and fizz. Fine enough to drink, but wouldn't seek out again.

22oz bomber

appearance: served in a hilliards can-pint, hazy copper-orange body, big fluffy white head with nice sticky lace

smell: floral, tangerine, hopping rather subtle

taste: a nice refreshing IPA - fresh floral notes, more tangerine and sweet orange than bitter citrus flavors, lemon, toasted malt backbone

mouthfeel: light, refreshing, low bitterness

overall: good, not great. Interested to try their DIPA

The Gigantic IPA is a decent IPA...it pours a slightly hazy copper with frothy white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent is has fresh hop that is leaning towards pine. The taste is balance nicely with a sweet malt that helps to curtain the bitterness. The mouthfeel is fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer and worth a shot.

Poured one finger on a medium straw colored body.
The aroma is bright mandarin and orange.
The taste is a solid big lemon bitterness with some honey sweetness in the background. Makes a balance and tasty beer.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A wonderful drink.
