Forbidden Planet has a very thick, spongy, off-white head, with an initial, semi-clear, gray-yellow appearance and heavy lacing. One observes an opaque presentation, following the "swish & pour". The aroma is of sharp, fruity hops. The flavor is of bitterness, white bread, and some sugar. Forbidden Planet has a low-medium body and a dry finish.

A - Pours out pale yellow-orange body, hazy. Lots of lacing and thin cap.
S - Strong hop pith and pine, a bit of grapefruit and lemon citrus, grass and spice.
T - Taste follows the nose, citrus forward, floral and pine, and a bitter bite in the finish.
M - Prickly carbonation, light body, easy brisk finish, just a bit of resin build.
O - Superb dry-hopped brew, very tasty and drinkable. If I can get this again, I will.

On tap at Churchkey in D.C.
Pours a hazy light orange with soft, fine foam.
Smell is citrusy and juicy with some tropical notes of dried fruit.
Taste is very fruity with a hint of yeastiness and notes of citrus and pineapple. Very easy to drink and refreshing.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a tasty and refreshing beer. Bluejacket call this a Blonde ale, but it drinks as much as an APA.
