Appearance - Pours a light straw color with a slightly hazy body. You can almost see through it but it is a bit cloudy. I vigorous, foamy head explodes from the glass after pouring and lasts throughout the entire bottle. The lacing is sparse, but what is there comes in thick clumps.
Aroma - The aroma quite malty with sour fruit overtones. You can definitely get some of the grain in this beer, which is balanced by the tangerine and apricot notes.
Taste - The taste is very mild but spritzy due to the high carbonation. It develops more on the palate as it sits and it has a long finish. It isn't really as sour as I expected or the nose let on, but it is a little tart. The graininess from the nose falls off a little, paving the way for the fruit notes. There's definitely a strong peach and apricot flavor that is pretty nice.
Mouthfeel - The body is heavier than I expected; more full-feeling for sure. The carbonation is really high which helps cut that substantialness a bit.
Closing Arguments - Overall, this is a decent beer from Bluejacket. I've been to the brewery a couple times after receiving this bottle (but before drinking it), and really liked everything I had. I don't think this really stands up to anything I've had in-person, but it is a little bit older than it probably should be. Still a nice easy drinker.

"Tart & Funky - Delicate - Sour Blond Ale".
750 mL bottle poured into a Hair of the Dog tulip glass.
A: Gold color and hazy. Smooth, white foam stand.
S: Citrus zest. Not getting any funk.
T: Peach juice, lactic acid, diacetyl.
M: Light body, high carbonation, effervescent.
O: Not much going on in this beer. Diacetyl is not overbearing, but with peachy notes and lactic, it kind of gives it a peach cobbler feel. I had this on a warm afternoon, but it might have been better with dessert.

Had this at Bluejacket. From notes.
A - Cloudy orange/gold pour with one finger of white head. Spotty lace and a film of retention.
S - Tartness, lemon, a bit of acidity, apple.
T - Citrus, a bit of tart lemon, grass, some tanginess.
M - Good carbonation, medium body, tartness to finish.
O/D - Nice stuff. Quite enjoyed this one. It was slightly hoppy and nice tartness provided a nice element. Good stuff.
