Bottled 2015

Very sweet like a good scottish brown ale.
Except this is way more complex.
Very little carbonation.
Finish is dark chocolate and malt
Wish I would have picked up 2 bottles

This beer will catch you by surprise. My first impression was that it a bit to casked and did not have traditional beer qualities but in hindsight, that is exactly wha makes this beer so unique.
It has a very notable cask musk odor and an understated carbonation, almost seems flat but the carbonation is very fine and the small bubbles helps keep this smooth.
If you like Rye Whiskey and you like beer, you'll find this a pleasant combination of both. Has an almost cocktail quality without the watered down addition of ice. Beware though, this beer is not for someone looking for a straight up beer. This is a nice night cap type beer. Drink one and you're feeling quite good. Drink two and you better have a designated driver.
