This beer is nearly perfect.
I was completely Impressed
First time in a while that I picked up a beer and it actually tastes like what is described.
The only concern I had was a somewhat of a harsh alcohol bite.
Since it is an imperial stout it wouldn't hurt for it to be aged so the bite could

Poured from bottle into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours an almost pitch black color with a one finger of tan colored head. The head has a fantastic level of retention, slowly fading to leave a moderate level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is actually heavies to of a roasted malt smell and not chocolate as I would have anticipated. It does however also have a milk chocolate smell that carries with it a lactose and vanilla sweetness. A little bit of a caramel smell and a hint of a darker fruit is there as well.
Taste – Unlike the nose, the taste begins with a huge and smooth milk chocolate bar like taste with tons of milky lactose flavors and a big vanilla presence. This chocolate flavor remains massive throughout the entire taste creating a fantastically smooth milk chocolate flavor throughout. There is a moderate roastiness upfront that gains just a hint of intensity toward the end. Some flavors of cherry and plum also develop on the tongue throughout the taste mixing with the milk chocolate and the roasted flavors to leave a delicious lightly fruited sweet milk chocolate bar flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is super thicker and creamy with a carbonation level that is low. The feel is amazing for the rich milk chocolate flavor so the brew coating the tongue in all the rich flavors and creating a very smooth and lush feel.
Overall – This is a delicious and decadent chocolate brew. The mix of big sweet chocolate with the fantastically smooth feel make for one very nice sipping dessert beer.

22 oz bottle poured into a snifter.
Pours dark brown approaching black with 2 fingers of fluffy, light tan head. Excellent retention along with some very subtle light penetration along the edges.
Semi-sweet chocolate, raisin, licorice, cocoa and molasses.
Raisin and prune mingled with semi-sweet chocolate and powdered cocoa. Creamy milk along with notes of licorice and molasses. Finishes with a light earthy bitterness that never overrides the sweetness.
Full bodied, silky, creamy and smooth.
Chocolates and dark fruits mixed with a beautifully creamy and milky body. Impeccably smooth and easy drinking for 9.1%.

Poured a dark brown to black color with over a finger of beige head. The nose had a touch of chocolate and a touch of coffee. The body was fairly hearty and smooth with some roast as well as a hint of maple syrup and the same touch of chocolate found in the nose. The alcohol presence did get a slight bit too much on the finish but overall this was a pleasurable drinking experience.

Dark brown in color, nearly black, with a huge beige foam that slowly reduced to a thick cap that left thick sticky rings on the glass. Chocolate and earthy roasted malt aromas with notes of molasses and pine hops beneath. Full bodied with rich, full, creamy carbonation through the middle. Dark roasted and dark roasted malt flavors up front followed by slowing building pine hop bitterness from the middle to the end. Finishes with a moderate pine hop and sticky, roasted malt aftertaste.
