Lightly weathered copper orange in color with a heavy hazy appearance. Poured with a short cream white foam that reduced to a wispy cap that left random sticky lacings on the glass. Dank, musty hop aromas, over-ripe tangerine and pineapple, with a sweet maltiness beneath. Medium bodied with a slightly resinous feel up front that quickly transitions to a smooth oily feel to the finish. Dank, bitter hop flavors with ripe citrus and a sweet, malty backbone. Finished dryly with a tangy hop bite, and ripe citussy and pine hop aftertaste. This was not what I expected. This falls outside the typical DIPA offering. Funky, slightly complex aroma, great feel, fabulous hoppiness, crisp finish. Impressive.

16oz can poured into a Hopslam tulip

L: Pours a deeper orange, hazy, brighter golden edges. Big off-white head sticks around, and to the glass.

S: Decent, albeit standard, nose of pine needles, bitter citrus, and bready malts. At least it doesn't smell like a malt bomb, which is basically all I care about.

T: Now we're talking, this is tasty as hell. Lots of juicy tropical citrus fruits up front, I get a ton of ruby red grapefruit, then the malts step in to balance things out, remind you this is 9% ABV, and then boom - bitter beer face. No doubt this is a big, high IBU beer.

F: Maybe my favorite part of the beer, somewhere in between creamy, and lively. Perfect amount of carbonation, aka a flavor delivery machine.

O: Not sure what some others have been drinking, but I didn't find this boozy in the least. Can you tell it's 9%? Kind of, not all that much. It's actually a fairly easy to drink DIPA, and I will definitely seek this one out everytime it's released fresh. Really solid brew.

The use of high alpha acid British hops is well appreciated, although the pilgrim hops really come through front and center with a grapefruit hop punch each sip.

I picked this up in a 16oz.can.A beautiful amber color and very cloudy.Washed over my palate with a citrusy, hoppy tidal wave.Really liked this one.My first brew from Neshaminy Creek.A fine offering.

This beer, man. This fucking beer is unlike anything I've had.

Cloudy as hell. Big, dense head.
Nose is big, dirty, earth. Lots of grass with just a hair of juicy citrus cutting through.
Taste is much of the same - but it really hits you hard on the front end. Has a big hazy/cloudy quality to it - much like heady does. Finishes dry with more earth and some malt sweetness.
Feel is super chewy and sticky. Everything stays on your tongue for such a long time afterwards.

It's not your typical DIPA, but goddamn is it good. Easily stands up to some of the best.

A: A strong rush of effervesce rises within a bengal tiger orange colored body that showed a medium rate of obstruction. A foamy 2 finger head with yellowish undertones sits for a relative amount of time while leaving large speckled clumps of foam deposits on the vessel. Second pour shows a good natured amount of micro-bran particulate matter suspended in the body.

S: Aroma had a light fruitiness, apple, oranges and citrus notes. Some warm and spicy herbal hops comes about with some baked bread and dried grassiness on the trail.

T: Flavor showed a caramelized toasted grain sweetness with dried honey and a spicy hopping with background nuances of tropical fruit. Caramelized pineapple, mango hints with a sweet and spicy hopping of citrus and speciality grain gave this a light edge fruitiness factor combined with some piney-honeyed flavored alcohol content. Floral grapefruit touch appears on the finish with some caramel apple, glaze and alcohol glow.

M: Full bodied, sticky caramel and pine with a alcohol glow that was gentle and complimenting.

O: Overall a nice transition of flavor, some sweet and fruity moments, some spicy, and a sweetly toasted background of honey malt. Sticky sweetness, tropical notes provide a decent amount of complexity, while keeping things fresh and wet,not to dry in the hopping department but still brought enough respect and balance to make this 9.0% monster a very drinkable affair. Repeat worthy.
