look: 3.5 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.25 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

Poured into a chalice: color is copper, head is light tan with fine and medium size bubbles, pretty dense, some lacing on the glass.

Smell is a blend of some booze and yeast off flavors and phenols, some hop bitterness and aroma is present, touch of grapefruit and grass.

Taste is blend of mild leftover sweetness from the sugar, phenol from the yeast and some booze/ester type flavor - all expected and desired. Sweetness is a touch more than other tripels. Phenol and ester flavors are not overpowering and complement the sweetness. There seems to be a good amount of hop flavor and solid bitterness balancing the sweetness.

Mouthfeel is a touch sweet, not cloying, followed by some tongue biting bitterness but not as much dryness as expected.

Overall, a solid brew, maybe a sweeter tripel than most but some good yeast byproduct and ester flavors.

very nice for price. pours orange into snifter with the white head. cloudy/unfiltered appearance. aromas have hints of banana, clove, alcohol. not a really awesome nose. flavor and feel are great for a 4.99 tripel. a little bit on the bitter side, like an orange peel. overall mostly reflects value

I purchased this at Stone Grille taproom in York, in their bottle shop called BrewTaGo, 22oz enjoyed chilled with tenderbranson69 from a cordial glass.

The color is a very hazed sunny golden with thick cream with fine bead and lasting retention, lace clings like foam. The smell is very good nice malt with a slight spice not from the yeast and mildly sweet essence perhaps candy sugar with light alcohol. The feel is excellent, the alcohol is restrained with malt being the star and yeast adding dimension with moderate carbonation and light sweetness in the finish.

The taste is great, lots of belgian yeast adds clove and some light banana with a gentle dried fruit flavor and malt sweetness is full in the middle with a tinge of candy sugar tip and mild peppery hop accents the yeast with only a smidge of alcohol warmth in the finish which is mostly dry. Overall I really enjoyed this -a very good take on the style by this American brewer.

22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden with long lasting, fluffy, white head. Aroma is of Belgian yeast, bready malt and spices. Body is full, creamy and tangy. Taste is of yeast, spices, sugar, herbal hops, bready malt and fruity esters. Finish is sweet first than becomes very spicy. Very nice brew.

Beautiful, hazy golden-orange with a finger of soft white head. Lacing throughout the glass and a small cap remains. Very bright on the nose, and if you've ever had a Blue Moon you'll recognize it immediately. No maltiness remains on the nose, just clean spice and fruit. Slightly warming alcohol(9+%) on the initial sip, and remains for a while. A little soapy, just a lingering bitterness from the orange peel. The hops still come out, which is surprising for how heavy it is on the Coriander and Orange. I don't like the backend. Slightly tart, bitter, mouth puckeringly sweet. Some may like it. Tastes like an Orange Warhead, if they made an orange Warhead.

Poured from a bomber in to a Snifter.
