Our Pilsner is assertively hopped with Hallertau and Tettnanger noble hops and has a cracker-like malt backbone that finishes crisp and dry coming in at 4.8% ABV, which makes this one highly drinkable (which is the point, duh).

Poured into a standard pint glass: color is transparent straw, light carbonation, fine bubbled bright white head that leaves some bubbles on the glass.

Smell is subtle, light, mostly bready and biscuity malt notes, some grassy hops.

Taste is crisp, pretty clean, bready, biscuit and cracker like flavors; hops are earthy, grassy and then finish rather bitter.

Mouthfeel is more bitter than the average pils, biting on the tongue and crisp, and then drying as the flavors dissipate.

Overall, a nice tasting pils with a sharp mouthfeel; flavors are pleasant and very drinkable, smell and mouthfeel are just a little lacking in pilsner qualities.

12 oz can poured into a tulip pint.

Appearance
Straw with 2 fingers of creamy, white head that dissipates slowly. Excellent clarity with light-moderate carbonation.

Nose
Cracker, bread, and lemongrass.

Taste
Crackery malts with deeper tones of toasted bread and caramel. A nice punch of hops forming earthy florals and notes of lemongrass. Lighter notes of golden apple and pear with hints of bubblegum.

Mouthfeel
Medium-light bodied, crisp, clean, and refreshing.

Overall
A nice refreshing Pilsner!

Had this on 2014-05-24 in Lancaster, PA at Hunger and Thirst.

A - pretty clear straw-gold with a 1 finger head and very nice lace.

S - White bread, honey, grass, floral. Pleasant.

T - Sweet malt, honey and citrus initially then some grass and hop bitterness. Fresh tasting. Dries nice with lasting flavor.

M - Medium body and carbonation. Not watery I like the feel.

O - I like it well enough to get a case for the summer.
