A big thanks to woodychandler for yet another canned beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is, well, faint. Several large whiffs resulted in just a few faint malts. Taste is malts, some sweetness, bready, a touch of hops. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer but nothing special.

I wasn't to sure on the style. I'm just going by the color amber with golden highlights and that it's a lager hence the style American Amber/ Red Lager. Also I'm not sure if this is a year round yet or not but it is brewed for the Churchville Inn and recently started on tap at the brewery.
No B.S. probably the best all around looking lager I've head. Amazing head retention, two fingered eggshelled colored heading. Amber in color with golden highlights. Amazing lacing that leaves ringlets throughout the tasting.
Nothing too big with the nose. Toasted malt, sweet caramel and a touch of medicinal hops.
Though not that much different the nose everything just seems to come full force. Caramel malt backbone with an awesome toasty flavor. Slight sting on the palate in the finish of medicinal hops.
Balanced almost perfect maybe a little on the chewy side. Medium to Full bodied. Excellent carbonation.
Overall I am very impressed. Extremely tasty. I recently had Brooklyn Lager which is rated very high for this style and I most say Churchville Lager is every bit better in all aspects. It has the looks, the taste , the body and just that overall enjoyiness. A must try. This could possibly be NCBC's best beer to date !

12 oz bottle. Pours amber with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of grassy, herbal hops and caramel malt. Body is light and smooth. Grassy, herbal hops and caramel malt fill the mouth. Finish is long and dry. Just OK brew.

12 oz can poured into a tulip pint.
Amber with 1 finger of bone white head. Good clarity with moderate carbonation.
Bread, biscuit, brown sugar, and a Lagery yeastiness.
Biscuit and caramel drizzled bread. Lightly toasty with touches of brown sugar. Light earthy hop bitterness on the finish.
Medium bodied, crisp, clean, and refreshing.
An absolutely fantastic Lager!
