A: The glass pours with almost 80% foam. After it settles to a few ounces of beer and three finger of tan head we can see a hazy, medium copper beer.
S: This beer has an odd, medium citrus hops aroma that seems to starts off with a moderate amount of a plastic to almost chile pepper like notes. Fortunately some more Simcoe-like hops aromas come through with notes of citrus and onion alone with a pine-like hops aroma. There is a medium toasty malt aroma with a light caramel sweetness. On the whole the hops aroma isn't bad but it fades but the phenols are distracting.
T: The first impression is that it tastes more like an English IPA than an American ale with a lot less hops flavor but more yeast character. Then a spicy phenol starts to come through that explains what was going on with the plastic off-note in the nose. The fruity hops are aromas don't carry into the beer like they do in the nose. There is some caramel malt support and the balance is moderately bitter.
O: There is a lot to like about the base components of the beer and I'd try it if I came across a fresh batch but I won't be seeking it out either. It pours and smells like an over-carbonated, possibly infected beer and is no surprise that it tastes like one too.

The aroma is weak, nuts, dirt, light caramel. The appearance is hazy but translucent amber color, off-white head. The flavor is nuts, dusty, light caramel, odd sort of hoppiness. It’s like a bad brown ale. The finish is nuts, odd noble hop bitterness. Medium in body. Not something I would seek out.

A: Pours a hazy orange-brown, moderately carbonated, finger-thick beige foam leaving a slight lacing.
S: Light yet floral hops are forward, combines with the mild malt notes for a pleasant sweetness.
T: Moderate yet mild malt characteristics hit the palate first, with well-balanced piney/bitter/tangy hops progressing through the finish, with a light piney bitterness that lingers.
O: Rather successful foray into imposing more dynamic hops into an amber/brown ale. While the bitters in an amber ale can be quite pleasing in their own right, the floral hops give this one a little unique edge.
