Bottle: Poured a light orangey color le with a generous foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light warming rum notes with some sweet a caramelized barley malt notes. Taste is also dominated by some caramelized barley malt notes with some rum notes and some well-balanced residual sugars. Body is somewhat full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very nice base beer with nice arming undertones and balance residual sugar with the rum barrel notes bringing in some nice additional complexity. (522 characters)

Poured from a bomber into a stemmed tulip glass and shared with friends.

Pours a clear amber color with a short head, falling quickly and leaving a bit of slippery lace. The nose is dominated by sweet boozy rum, hot alcohol, vanilla and to a lesser extent, sweet caramel malt. The barrel also dominates the palate with sweet boozy rum and a bit of hot alcohol. The vanilla, toffee, candi sugar and caramel malt and raisins still come through with spicy hops coming through in the finish. The body is round and smooth. A nice offering from their new barrel age line. (566 characters)
