660ml Bottle from Marche Omni QC for 7$

Appearance - Clear gold/copper colour with an average size fizzy white coloured head. There is a low amount of carbonation showing and there is some faint lacing. The head lasted for only a few minutes.

Smell - Hops, malts, cereal, grapefruit

Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and I can taste caramel and malts mixed with hops. There is also some very faint citrus and some grassy cereal type notes. It ends with a malty slightly bitter aftertaste.

Overall – My first beer from this brewer and it's fairly good. It was worth a shot but for the price I'd pick something else up next time. If I see an IPA by this brewer at the store I'll pick it up.

Pours an extremely cloudy orange. Medium white head and lacing. On the nose there is citrus, mixed with caramel biscuity malt. Tastes are of citrus bitterness, with a light background of sweet malts. Overall I was expecting something light, but was pleasantly surprised by the complexity of aromas and tastes.

Bottle from Rapido in Gatineau.

A - Pours light golden and bright with strong carbonation. Three fingers of fluffy white head. Good lace rings and great finger of retention.

S - Grainy, honey, mild hop, a little lemony. Not your typical pale ale but a decent aroma that's a little different from the usual.

T - Hops are there but very much in balance with the honey notes from the malt and the sweet grain. Balanced, but could use a bit more hop strength. A bit of lemon there too.

M - A bit dry and bitter to finish. Mild to medium carbonation in the mouth, medium body.

O/D - More malt forward than a pale ale of this style should be. Had greater expectations for this.

Appearance: It has a nice hazy deep golden/orange color to it. It has a nice off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves some nice lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of floral hops, citrus, grass, grainy malts and some caramel.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has some nice floral hops, some citrus and lemon, a grassy bitterness, grainy malts and a touch of sweet caramel.

Mouthfeel: It has a medium carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light pungent hops with lightly sweet malt notes. Taste is a good mix between some pungent hops with light fruity ester and lightly sweet malt base. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Quite enjoyable with nice little herbal hops presence.

Thanks Deadbolt82!

Appearance. Pours a hazy gold-amber with almost two fingers of off-white head with average retention and some bands of lace.

Smell. Bright floral hops, lime, papaya, oranges and pineapple with some lightly toasted grains. Nice.

Taste. Tropical fruits, some citrus and floral hops, roasted light grains and just a little bit of bitterness in the finish. Very nice!

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. Seems just a little bit thin.

Overall. Very nice pale ale. Lots of fruit and really nice hops.
