My wife thought this was the best IPA she had ever had. I think it was certainly one of the very best. I had it both on tap in Ottawa and in bottles.

The beer comes in a hazy bright orange.

The flavor hits of huge grapefruit and citrus. A touch of tropical and peach flavors. There's a crisp bready malt that does not hunker the beer down. A bitterness of floral and pine on the finish.

A really tasty brew and refreshing IPA.

Pours a golden straw with s finger and a half of white head. Smell is mellow with hints of tropical fruit, citrus and bready malt. Taste follows the nose. Really delicate layers of bitterness, citrus and bready malt. Mouthfeel is smooth, nicely carbonated. This was really a big surprise for me. One of the best non-VT IPAs I've had in quite some time.

A world class Quebecois IPA that I'm enjoying with many thanks to mtomlins.

Pours a hazy light golden straw colour with a white head that leaves an impressive amount of lacing. Fantastically hop-forward aroma of resinous pine and citrus, with only hints of the tropical fruits that are more prevalent in the taste. Flavour is a great blend of my favourite APA hop tones, with pink grapefruit, loads of mangos and many other fruits. The finish has a surprisingly sweet malt element underneath the typical hop bitterness, but it's a pleasant ending to a powerful beer.

Mason jar at Cask Days.

A - White foam settles to a thin cap and specks of lace. Lightly hazed orange body. Pretty appropriate for a cask IPA.

S - Orange creamsicle; spot-on West Coast IPA. A heavy does of citrus flesh, with some zest and rind mixed in. Malt backdrop imparts a touch of sweetness, but remains largely in the background.

T - The taste isn't quite as awesome as the aroma, with less succulent orange and a bit more in the way of bready malt and piney bitterness. Still, the latter isn't excessive and on the whole its quite enjoyable.

M - Medium body, lower carbonation, and a pleasant dry finish with lingering oily hop resins. No perceptible alcohol.

D - This is a top tier Canadian IPA. I hope the bottles taste like this, as I'd love to buy this regularly. The best IPA that I had at the fest in any case. I think these guys get that the secret to a great West Coast IPA is in the malt bill.

Appearance: It has a nice hazy deep golden/orange color to it. It has a nice off-white head that dies down slowly and leaves nice lacing

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of citrus, pineapple, grapefruit (very tropical), dank pines resins and some sweet bready malts.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has loads of citrus, grapefruit zest, pineapple, perhaps even mango, dank bitter pine resins and a touch of bready malts on the back.

Mouthfeel: It has a medium carbonation with a very nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied by great flavors and aromas. Definitely one of the best IPA's Quebec has to offer.

Serving type: bottle
