Bottle from hoppypocket in CanBIF Fall 2013. Told by a guy in Montreal that this was the best IPA from Quebec. Expectations!
A - Pours golden and slightly hazy with a three finger bubble bath soap head that turned into four fingers. Strong carbonation. Good rings of lace and a solid finger and a half retention.
S - Lemon, pine, melons, alcohol. Canned syrupy fruits. Mango-y type tropical fruits present too.
T - Lemon, more pine, more melons. Some alcohol is evident. A little tropical.
M - Good gripping bitterness and a little booze in the finish. Strong carbonation, medium oily body.
O/D - This wasn't as great as I was expecting. Not a resinous hop bomb like they try to claim it will be on the bottle. Good though. Has potential to be great. Valiant effort but held back by an alcholic melon note.

Pours a golden straw with s finger and a half of white head. Smell is mellow with hints of tropical fruit, citrus and bready malt. Taste follows the nose. Really delicate layers of bitterness, citrus and bready malt. Mouthfeel is smooth, nicely carbonated. This was really a big surprise for me. One of the best non-VT IPAs I've had in quite some time.

A world class Quebecois IPA that I'm enjoying with many thanks to mtomlins.
Pours a hazy light golden straw colour with a white head that leaves an impressive amount of lacing. Fantastically hop-forward aroma of resinous pine and citrus, with only hints of the tropical fruits that are more prevalent in the taste. Flavour is a great blend of my favourite APA hop tones, with pink grapefruit, loads of mangos and many other fruits. The finish has a surprisingly sweet malt element underneath the typical hop bitterness, but it's a pleasant ending to a powerful beer.

Beer is a light yellow golden in colour. Large white head. Nice retention and lace.
Scent is nice. Lemon, grapefruit and a bit of pineapple and other tropical scents. Nice light fruit scents. A little bit of malt, but this is a hop focused beer.
Taste is great. Nice bright tropical and citrus fruits. A real pineapple/mango flavour, with some grapefruit and lemon behind. A bit spicy. Malt is low but present, a bit of a bready flavour. Very nice!
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Nice.
Overall, very good. A real surprise! The best IPA I have had from Quebec. I would happily drink a lot of this one.

On tap at the Brasserie St Bock in Montreal.
Pours a pale gold colour, bit of haze. Head is white, whispy, just thin trails of lace. Bit meh.
Loads of citrus and other fruit on the nose. Pulpy mango with a touch of pineapple and passionfruit. Sweet, refreshing aroma. Lots of substance to it too, in spite of the subtle, almost undetectble malt.
Taste is more of that citric character. Tangy from the get go with big fruity mango sweetness as well. Gets passion and pine midway before citric bitterness on the back. Lemon pith and grapefruit. Nice transition from sweet to bitter too, melds well. Nice IPA.
Sharp carbonation from start to finish. Quite fizzy and rough. Not enough body there and hops don't help.
Nice IPA overall though. Drinks fruity, but stays grounded.

M - Medium. Creamy. Oily. Moderate.

Poured from a 660ml. bottle, no freshness info.
Appearance: A stark white and foamy head that really lays it on the glass. Light yellow colored body, nice and hazy..
Smell: Powerful lemon and assorted citrus fruits, aromatic, bit floral.
Taste: Sweet kiss on the hops, biscuity, lemon, papaya, pineapple and tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel: Well balanced, not aggressive but good bitterness regardless.
Overall: A sessionable IPA. Nothing over the top, just well made.

660ml bottle poured into tulip 8/7/13
A slight haze in a bright yellow body, lots of tiny bubbles and fine sediment, large loose off white foam has great retention slowly falling to a eraser top island leaving lots of soapy lace
S fuzzy peach candy, tangerine and mandarin with a little mango, pines strong with some floral notes and vitamin C chewable's, smells strong and sexy
T a little lemon rind and grapefruit I wasn't picking up on the nose, not quite as tropical with more pine needles, still solid but the nose takes it
M fairly light bodied for an IPA but it works, a nice bitter snap and the bubbles give it some body, long lingering rind and pine finish
O I wasn't expecting this beer to make my day but it did just that, not lacking anywhere and it smells divine, I could drink another bomber or two no issues
I never would've guessed I'd be drinking this random want today, I'm considering myself lucky today
