A quality Czech pilsener that's made locally that reminded me a lot of Wild Rose Brewery's one-off Natural Blonde Pilsener.

It came to the table a clear gold with a one-finger head. A nice bready malt smell was well-balanced with spicy noble hops, though overall the aroma was a little muted.

The flavour started grassy and malty but that was pushed aside by an assertive hop bitterness one expects from a well-made Czech pils. Medium carbonation and medium body helped along a crisp, dry finish. This is a staple whenever I'm at WildWood. (545 characters)

A reference to one of the Flames star goalies in the name of this one.

Clear golden hue in appearance, creamy head, was served in stemware. Crisp grains and herbal hops on the nose, some dandelion. The flavour is comprised of crisp grain and herbally hops, balanced nicely all the way. Becomes a bit sweet on the finish with a mild herbal aftertaste. Full velvety mouthfeel, a fine pilsner, and probably my session beer of choice for the summer time. (454 characters)

A: Poured with an average-sized, white head... spare lacing left on the sides of the glass. Body is a dark yellow, and clear and mostly flat.

S: Aroma is of light hops, nothing more... hard to distinguish anything, actually.

T: Crisp and dry, with a slightly bitter finish. Nothing special to set it apart from other pilsners, but still fairly enjoyable.

M: Light-bodied with an oily texture, and average carbonation.

D: A pretty decent example of a Czech pilsner, but I'd likely try something a little more inventive next time if I had the choice. (552 characters)
