Stopped in before and after the Cubs game yesterday, May 27th.
Pre-game was just to get a beer with the guys, we were not eating. We got seated right away and everyone seemed very friendly. My buddy Pat and I each ordered a bomber of Bourbon County Coffee Stout for $20. I was super excited, because we didn't get much in the South Bend area, was a bit of controversy. I was torn between this and trying the regular BCS on tap, as that is my fav beer of all time. The server gave us a sample of BCS, so I was able to try both...win!
The atmosphere was cool, pretty standard pub.
After the game we went back for dinner, and the experience was slightly different. Server was friendly, but extremely slow. They were busy, but not slammed. I switched it up to the Green Line Pale Ale, and thought it was pretty solid.
All in all, everyone had a great time. I was very happy to get the BCCS finally, and a kick ass t-shirt! Will def. go back..
