Nice, trendy establishment. Good music venue for smaller, local bands. Healthy selection of meads at all times... Sometimes an intimidating selection of mead.

A few local beers on tap, but really nothing to shake a stick at beer-wise.

Relatively knowledgeable staff. (273 characters)

Awesome little place on 5th Ave in Grandview. I picked a good day for my first visit; they were selling older vintage bottles at discounted prices. Grabbed two 2011 375ML Scarlet Solstices ($8) (blackberry, raspberry, cherry dry mead), a 2011 500ML Collaboration ($10) mead aged in OYO whiskey barrels for a year, and a newer 750ML bottle of Wild Ohio ($15).

Quality beers on tap from well known Ohio breweries like Fat Heads, Rhinegeist, Jackie O's, Barleys, etc.

Highlight of the day was PB&J mead; unfortunately it's only available on site. (545 characters)

My wife first stumbled upon this place and then we went there together. It is definitely more than a meadery, folks!

They open at 5pm but we kind of knocked on the door well before that time and the owners were there prepping for the night and let us in. We got a sample of all of their meads and bought a couple of bottles. They are pricey but unique. Sour mead anyone? Ginger mead? They sure do experiment here!

We went back that same night after an Arcade Fire gig and the place was seriously hopping! It was almost midnight and they were about to close... They have five beers on tap, including a Weasel Boy Barrel Aged Scotch Ale, Mad Tree and Catawba, plus a bunch of bottles from Fat Head's, Hoppin' Frog and others. Ohio rules, no doubt!

They don't have food but host a food truck outside. We had some serious Asian food from the Tokyo Go-Go truck, including beautiful tofu. You order at the bar and get it all served at your table inside the meadery/bar. Neat.

They also have live music and a nice stage for it, plus lots of space to dance, drink and roam. Love this place! (1,089 characters)

Great atmosphere for trying some MEAD! Ingredients are supplied LOCALLY.

Make sure if you are going with friends that they have an open mind - mead is not for the amateur taster (Natty light / boxed wine lovers).

The menu showcases original recipes that resemble the local farms, especially the blueberry and apple styles! (324 characters)
