On tap at Cedric's Tavern on the Biltmore grounds

A - amber or light brown with a thin lacing of off white head

S - toffee, nutty, caramel

T - caramel, coffee, lightly bitter, a bit nutty, a hint of toffee, faint citrus in the finish

M - crisp, medium bodied, smooth

This is a nice, lighter, traditional English brown ale. It has great drinkability and a solid flavor profile. It's very refreshing which is what one needs after wandering the Biltmore grounds. (474 characters)

No a serious beer. More of a novelty from Biltmore. (51 characters)

Cedric’s Tavern at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina

Enjoyed touring the grounds and grabbed a beer at the Tavern before leaving.

A: Light Brown in color with a white head
S: Roasty caramel smell
T: Different flavors throughout but the strongest would be caramel. Nutty flavoring in the beginning.
M: Pretty smooth (333 characters)

A-pours a clear chestnut color with a 1 finger off-white head nice amount of lacing and looks very fresh in the glass
S-not much in the smell some toast, caramel and toffee slight roasted malts
T- much like the smell except more flavor some light pale malts with some bitter roasted malts
M-medium carbonation pretty smooth mild taste just a touch of bitterness
O- again another brew that hit the spot nothing outstanding but tasty and mild with good flavor (456 characters)

Poured from bottle into pint glass at private event at Cedric's Tavern.

Expected much more from this beer. Would have liked a bit more malt and body to it.

Ok if you have been out walking the grounds in hot weather, but nothing distinguishes this beer or makes it memorable. (277 characters)

Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of yeast, sweet malt, pale malt, hint of yeast, and hops. Fits the style of an English Brown Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of yeast, sweet malt, hint of pale malt, hint of caramel malt, hops, biscuit, and a hint of pine. Overall, good appearance, blend, and body, but aroma is very muted and feel is only average. (472 characters)
