Poured into a dimpled handled pot to reveal a light straw coloured bright body with a huge fluffy white head that whilst dispersing still stayed to quite an extent and even laced the side of the glass.

Pouring this beer from the bottle produces a wonderful hoppy aroma with real bitter notes.

A handsome tasting bitter with biting peppery bitterness that spreads over the tongue till the tangy yeasty warming aftertaste.

Really good carbonation and perfect mouthfeel for this beverage.

This is a good bottled bitter not the best by a long way
but it is thirst quenching and flavour packed and most welcomed.

Pint served in imperial pint glass from cask in the Standing Order in Edinburgh.

A- Amber body with a creamy 2 finger head that reduces quickly to a crown. Minimal clarity, a slight haze in the body.

S- Faint earthyiness and biscuity malt, otherwise aroma minimal.

F- Biscuity malt in the beginning, hop bitterness is there in the finish but understated and quick. No lingering finish.

M- Carbonation is high for the style with a light body.

D- Imbalanced brew with not much flavour profile overall with poor mouthfeel. Not a classic.
