3rd and final in my tasting of the Beer Engineers beers.
A: best looking of the 3 beers. A clear dark brown with almost no head. Just a think white ring around the glass where the beer touches.
S: smells like artificial peanut butter. Booze and artificial peanut butter. If play dough had a peanut butter cousin this would be it. No aroma of hops or malt or sweetness. Just artificial play dough peanut butter.
T: more artificial peanut butter lased with boozy alcohol. No malt or hop complexity exists in this beer. It is what it says it is I guess, peanut butter. Just artificial peanut butter.
M: thin mouthfeel. Not what I was expecting either based off the other two beers. It's almost watery. Glad too cause that means the play dough taste doesn't stic around for long and neither does the boozy alcohols.
O: jeez. Where to start. It's the best beer that they put out but that's not saying a lot. The best thing about this beer is how it looks. Unless I am convinced otherwise I will not be buying again.

Appearance: very dark brown.
Smell: peanut butter chocolate candy.
Taste: Resse’s Peanut Butter Cups. No, seriously! Peanut butter, chocolate, slightly boozy, but it hides the 13% ABV very well indeed.
Mouthfeel: smooth, rich, but not as thick as you may expect. Easy on the palate.
Overall: a fascinating, unique beer that I had the privilege of sampling at the 2012 Magic City Brewfest. It’ll be bottled in bombers starting from August 2012.
