I highly recommend Of Love & Regret. The beer, food and service are top notch. A nice mix of Stillwater's beers and a wide variety of other beers, ciders, mead and cocktails. The vibe is fun but relaxed. Exactly the opposite of begging for a beer in a plastic cup at a loud and crazy Max's. The bartenders know their stuff (but don't flaunt it), clearly have a passion for the business, and take the time to talk with you about what you're experiencing. It's not the cheapest place in Baltimore nor the easiest to get to but it's the one place I would not want to miss when going downtown and the experience is well worth the effort.

I feel like the points I gave this place are misleading - it is much worse. The parts are far superior to the sum of the whole. The food is good but was expensive. It is also small (but with some of these Baltimore places that is to be expected) so can not fault them for that. The issue I have is with the beer and wine. This is supposed to be the home of Stillwater yet the prices are higher than the other area bars and the pours are less. If you look at the menu you can stomach the cost but once you see the oz no way. I also feel like the beers are just the normal beers. Again, other bars, get better selection of his collaborations. We also had a glass of red wine, which is also on tap. The section was non existent (basically red or white) and the cost was high. In addition, the red was cold (not cellar temp but cold) it is stored in the same place as the beer.
This place is a complete waste of time and money - can't say there was much love but certainly a lot of regret.

I came here for my Birthday for Brunch on 6/29/14.
The place is easy to find up on Brewer's hill across from the Natty Boh tower. The sign is visible on the corner and the parking is available on the street.
We walked in to a mostly empty place a little before noon. We were greeted in a frienly manner and seated in a sunny spot by the window. The menu for brunch is nicely varied and my wife and I both enjoyed breakfast items -I had the Bavarian benedict and she had the frittata with sausage and cheddar. The atmosphere is nice- sort of trendy and open with a modern/rustic theme with some farm type items deorating the windowsill.
The beers were all great and the selection is nice incorporating a good amount of house made beer and some imports/hard to find stuff too. The have the upstairs bar/bottle shop which carries a lot of great lambics and stillwater bottles. I would recommend this place since the food, service and beer are all top notch I had a great time sampling beers and cocktails.
