Popping the cap releases spicy grain, orange, citrus light bread and a faint funky over ripe fruit aroma. The beer pours a hazy peachy gold with a moussey 2” off-white very persistent and lacy foam cap. A light graininess supports a fairly dry, fruity palate with hints of pineapple, citrus, grape, ginger and white pepper backed by an earthy, but not overly brash bitterness. A light tropical fruit sweetness lingers long into the aftertaste. A very creamy medium bodied beer with above average fine soft carbonation.

This is one delicious, fresh saison, poured from a bottle. It has a distinct grain flavor, but with a fair amount bite. Don't get me wrong, it's a good bite: full body grains, with a zesty wheat nose and an effervescent finish. Given the value with this one (it's on the medium range for beers of its style), it's a MUST. Totally worthwhile. I have yet to have anything from Tahoe Mountain Brewing Co that I didn't like. Provisions was no exception.

Pours a big foamy head on a clear light straw body. Lots of bubbles.
The aroma mild grain, flowers and lemon.
The taste has a mild tart flavor, lemon bitterness and a touch of sweetness.
The texture is crisp and bubbly.
A mild beer, but fine flavor.

Blond with a slight haze, topped by a two finger head that leaves clinging lace. Rustic, grainy nose with a whiff of farmhouse funk. Bit of pineapple and apple from the yeast, but this is largely a grain-driven saison. Palate is big on the grain flavors as well, which are really nice. Touch of granny smith, some grassiness. Very dry, with firm but clean bitterness in the finish. Very enjoyable.

Hazy, orange/gold pour with pillowy head. A subtle and very dry saison, its first impression does not impress. At second glance, however, this effervescent and crisp farmhouse ale's strengths are in its subtleties. It offers some light citrus and peel and apple flavors balanced by a slightly spicy malt and a touch of breadiness. The finish is crisp and dry as a bone. This beer is not going to wow you but it is nicely made.

No bottle date

Look - Pours a light golden color with a beautiful fluffy white head. Excellent bubble distribution, and the head forms a topography reminiscent of rolling hills. 4.75 paws.

Smell - Very spicy, with hints of lemon verbena and green apple. The bottle says multi-grain, and I'm guessing rye would have to be one of those grains. Pepper and green tea come in to play as well. 3.75 paws.

Taste - Slightly tart green apple greets you, followed by flavors of green tea and chamomile. Slight peppery notes with a slightly bitter finish. 3.5 paws.

Feel - Very light with a tingle at the front and sides of the tongue. 3.5 paws.

Overall - A good saison, although the green apple flavor was a bit too present. Definitely worth trying and not a bad price. 3.5 paws.

This is a nice attempt at a saison that you would find 4-6 years ago, before sour everything was cool. Nice big cloudy head as I pour into a 22oz goblet. Lemon zest but not strong on the nose. Really easy to drink some grain but body almost feels thin, not picking up any peppercorns but dont think Im supposed to. If you like different saisons you'll enjoy this, not a sour. Really happy I received as a gift but have seen for $6.49 @ Wholefoods. Pretty good brewery as well.

Maybe it's the suggestion of the description-- "rustic multi-grain Saison"-- but this does have a light grainy flavor that's different from many other in the style. Is that a whiff of rye? Touches of wheat and oatmeal.

The brew is a golden yellow color with a decent foam in the Brewery Vivant tulip. Nice coating in the glass and plenty of spritz on the tongue. LIght body. The yeasty drying flavor is distinct. Less fruit than many other Saisons.

Overall this is a dry and austere sort of brew but it's light and totally drinkable. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Best Damn Beer Store in San Diego.

Pours a hazy honey orange with a foamy orange-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, pepper, citrus zest, earth, and spice aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, citrus zest, pepper, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that definitely has an emphasis on various grains coming through in the aroma and flavor as the label claims.

This beer is amazing. I had this poured from a bottle into a nice glass and the multi-grain that it says on the label you can taste. The rye maybe is the most noticeable, there is a little bit of spice to the beer but its very subtle. Subtle is the name of this beer its very smooth nothing tugs you in one direction of the other. The beer just strait up taste good very light and very refreshing. I actually need to get another bottle so i can drink it slower and really think about what i am drinking. Hash tag liquid crack.
* I aged a bottle for 6 months really good just very carbonated, much more effervescent.
