12oz can. Bottom is stamped 'CANNED: 12/28/20 ENJOY BY: 04/27/21'.
Clear, brown colored body. One finger of tan head upon pouring, and settles to a thin cap. Leaves behind spots and curls of lacing.
Aroma is lightly roasted malt, with whiffs of chocolate and caramel. Really smells like roasted barley.
Taste is slightly smoky, with lightly roasted malts, along with with chocolate and caramel. Slightly sweet.
Thin to medium mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Nose was apparent from a few feet away. Taste is balanced, with notes of malt, chocolate and caramel. This is a solidly made beer, but does not present a wow factor. Instead, the beer hits the middle notes and is pleasant to drink.

Listed as Stir Crazy Porter, I'm not sure how this is listed as a Winter Warmer. Pours a clear dark brown with a generous light tan cap that fades quickly leaving minimal lacing. Aroma is faint roasted malt. Flavor is roasted malts, a whiff of smoke and some coffee. Feel is light bodied. Overall an average at best porter.

I hate to say it but I'm dissapointed. For a porter this is watery and weak when it comes to flavor. You get the smoke and the char in the aftertaste bit not much upfront. I've enjoyed this beer cold(mistake) and at cellar temp and while that is better it still leaves a lot to be desired.

Very smooth with chocolate and coffee after taste. Very good porter!

Tried this years back and though it was meh. I remember it being way to sweet and fruity. After hearing they "reformulated" it, I thought I'd give it another go. Verdict: much better! I agree with the reviews that mention this being more of a brown ale than a porter. Highly recommended.

12oz can, snifter glass. Darker brown body, cola coloured, one finger offwhite head, good retention, a fair bit of lacing. Smell is nutty, light roast, touch of burnt espresso, caramel. Big nuttiness, more than I have found in most porters. Taste is more of a nutty hazelnut, sweet caramel, a bit of burnt malt, toffee. It's a bit of a simplistic porter; honestly more of a brown ale. More of a stylistic misnomer, in my opinion. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, thinner, solid carbonation, nutty caramel sweetness on the finish.
