Serving glass: Poured from can into Nonic pint.
Appearance: Very cloudy amber-orange. Much darker than expected. Good sized off-white head at first, which settles back to fine lacing.
Smell: Berry, orange, pineapple, mango and peach. Wonderful aroma.
Taste: Similar hop taste as with the aroma - berry, orange, pineapple, mango and peach, but also some grapefruit and pine, especially at the finish. Solid malt backbone of caramel and maybe even a touch of toffee. Finish is more bitter than most tropical fruit hop bombs.
Feel: Medium to full body, fairly oily with decent carbonation. Finish is very dry.
Overall: Very flavorful and bitter IPA. Just a solid sucker punch overall.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a Indeed shaker glass. Canned on 3/3/14.
Appearance: Pours a deep amber orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Solid two fingers of off white head which slowly fade into a thin creamy layer. Leaves a lot of lacing.
Smell: A very juicy and dank hop forward aroma with big hints of tropical fruits, pine, and grass. Upfront citrus hops with ripe hints of grapefruit, mango, orange, lemon, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, kiwi, and melon. Earthy and floral hop hints of grassy hops and some spicy pine resin. Solid backing malt presence with some hints of sweet caramel, grains, yeast, and cracker. A really good hoppy aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a juicy, dank, and nicely oily hop driven taste with a lot of citrus, pine, and grassy hops. Upfront tropical citrus hops with notes of grapefruit, mango, orange peel, lemon, pineapple, tangerine, apricot, melon, and kiwi. Big presence of earthy and floral hops with some notes of grass and some spicy pine resin. Solid background of sweet malt with notes of caramel, grains, biscuit, and yeast. Very juicy and nicely bitter. Very good taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very juicy and oily with a fairly drying finish.
Overall: A really good IPA. Great citrus and piney hop flavors with a nice caramel background. Kind of reminds me of Surly Furious. Indeed kills it again with another great IPA.

Appearance - Dark red copper color. Nice bubbly head, but no lacing at all
Smell - what an aroma! lots of bitterness up front followed by a tropical sweetness
Taste - very bitter from start to finish. didn't get much of the tropical fruit I smelled
Mouthfeel - quite crisp, but the bitterness is strong and quite overpowering
Overall - I am not a huge fan of the overly hoppy beers. I can respect what this beer is doing though and was happy to try it.

Definitely on the darker end of the IPA spectrum. Clear dark reddish amber color with one finger of head that had good retention before settling to a thin cap. Moderate amount of spotty lacing is left down the glass.
First whiff and I get the wonderful Mosaic hops. Dank herbal pine smell. A bit of forest floor. I also pick up notes of citrus like tangerine and lemons. The brewer hints of blueberry, but I am not getting any of that. Hop aromas have no trouble overpowering the malt.
This is one brutally bitter hop bomb. Weighs in with 90 IBUs so not surprised. I would of liked this single hopped with Mosaic, but we also get Calypso and El Dorado that add citrus and tropical fruit flavors to go along with the dank Mosaic. Sweetness of the malt makes a valiant effort to balance the beer but it is a lost cause. Has a bit of a red ale flavor to the malt bill with caramel and slightly toasted flavor.
Solid body and carbonation. Feels a little bigger than other IPAs around this brews ABV. Nice smooth texture.
A lot going on with the hops as it packs a lot of their flavor. I like the malt choices but I think I would this more if it was single hopped with Mosaic and at lower IBU levels.
