Pretty good stuff for a lager. Can see myself drinking enough of this on a hot summer day and falling off a deck somewhere (123 characters)

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Pilsner glass.

Appearance: Rich gold with good sized white cap.

Smell: Biscuit, hay, spice, apple, citrus and honey.

Taste: Backbone of biscuit, apple, citrus, sweet honey and hay. Some light spiciness from the hops, but restrained. The finish is definitely mead-like, with some floral notes as well.

Feel: Medium to full body, ample carbonation, sudden drying finish from the honey to combat the honeycomb sweetness it had previously imparted.

Overall: Good Imperial Lager with lots of taste and a nice citrus and mead profile from the Mexican Honey. I like the way honey can both provide a sweet taste and a dry finish. Could have used a little more hops for balance instead of primarily relying on the dried out honey finish, but very good nonetheless. (799 characters)

L: Pours bright straw under a 2” finely bubbled white foam cap that clings to the side of the glass.
S: Light orange and honey on the nose with light grains in the background.
T: Honeyed light grains with orange highlights.
F: Dry and crispy with medium carbonation and a medium light body. Has a little honey texture and stickiness on the finish that lingers and coats the tongue.
O: A big, refreshing summer beer. (422 characters)

Poured from a 750 ml bottle into an Indeed shaker glass.

Appearance: Pours a bright and clear golden orange with a lot of rising bubbles. Huge four finger white head with decent retention. Leaves a good amount of lacing.

Smell: A crisp, bready, and sweet malt forward aroma with good hints of biscuit, honey, and citrus. Pale malt with upfront hints of biscuit, grains, cracker, straw, and lager yeast. Big sweet hints of honey. Citrus fruit hints of orange and lemon. Also some earthy and floral hop hints. A very solid sweet Pilsner aroma.

Taste: Like the smell previews, a nicely crisp, sweet, and bready malt driven taste with notes of biscuit, citrus, and sweet honey. Bready pale malt with notes of biscuit, cracker, grains, straw, hay, and lager yeast. Big notes of honey sweetness. Citrus fruit notes of oranges and lemon zest. Subtle floral and earthy hop presence. A pretty good big Pils taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp and nicely smooth. Starts sweet and finishes dry.

Overall: A pretty good take on a bigger Pilsner. The added honey adds a nice sweet kick without making things overly sweet. (1,164 characters)

This beer pours a slightly hazy straw yellow color, with a thick pillowey white head. The head fades ever so slowly, leaving a massive lace.

This beer has a grainy aroma. I detect some pepper nots as well as some grass. It has a very mild honey aroma.

As with the aroma, the honey that I was expecting takes a back seat to the grainy flavor. It is a little more pronounced, but only slightly.

This beer is crisp. It is carbonated well. It leaves a grain aftertaste with a hint of honey. The a kohl content is very well masked in this beer. Is it sessionsble? I don't think so, but I am not opposed to drinking a bottle or two.

Overall, this is a pretty decent beer. I don't love it, but I like it enough. Thanks go out to my good friend Sarah for including this with a plethora of fine Minnesota beers! (814 characters)

Pale golden color with a dense two fingers of white head. The head settles to a thick cap with heavy lacing being left down the glass during consumption.

One of the most amazing floral aromas I have smelled in a beer. Hints of orange peel and lemon zest. Light hint of cracker like malt.

Nice honey flavor that is sweet, but not cloying. Nice compliments of citrus and flowers. A touch of perfume from the alcohol. I was afraid that this might be overly sweet but straddles a fine line with the help of the Amarillo hops and pilsner malt.

Feels like an imperial beer. Wish it had a little bit more carbonation. Feels a little clingy on the palate.

Has some amazing features. Keep these unusual beers coming Indeed. Another winner. (734 characters)

This was an interesting beer. At first I thought it was just ok and hid the alc. content very well. I picked up on the honey flavor early on but it changed a little the emptier the bottle got. It definitely grew on me the more I drank. By the time I emptied the bottle I couldn.t believe it was already gone. At first sip you think it is just ok but by the end you are wanting more and wondering where it all went. Another great beer by the guys at Indeed. (463 characters)

Radiant golden brew. Smells like a standard lager nothing special here. Taste is honey and a little boozy. OK flavor for a springtime beer. One of my favorite thing about lagers though is their sessionability and at 8% this beer destroys that benefit. (251 characters)
