In my opinion, this is exactly what a beer is supposed look like. Beautiful gold colour, nice thick frothy head, leaving nice lacing on my glass. Orange notes and hops on the nose. The taste also has orange notes but adds some other sweetness, bitter hops and a malty background. I was impressed with this beer

The classification on this site is correct. The can describes this as a session IPA. It is too light and no hopped aggressively enough to be an IPA. It is a very pleasant sessionable APA. Mid gold in colour with pine citrus and tropical fruit on the nose and in the body.

Colour is burnt gold, cloudy. Nice hoppy nose. Hop-forward, light-bodied, fairly dry. Very refreshing. A subtle but well-executed sessionable pale ale. Well done, Sleeping Giant!

From memory because sleeping giant deserves props. I've enjoyed many bombers of the beaver duck and hope it moves from a seasonal to year round offering. A suggestion I made on my last visit to the brewery...
See adrenaline 's review for a succinct review but this is a nice, balanced slightly hop forward pale ale with nice grapefruit accents from the Amarillo hops.
Sleeping giant is also impressive for their consistency.

Chiming in at 34 IBU, a hybrid APA - Canadian brewed American Pale Ale with Australian and American hops (Galaxy and Amarillo).
A - Pour a nice golden colour, finger of head with solid retention and some sporadic lacing.
S - Great nose with loads of fruity hops, hints of mango, pineapple, a touch of sweet cedar and pine.
T - Nicely balanced with a solid dose of fruity hops, the mango and hints of passion fruit come through nicely, not overly bitter, and a nice caramel malt backbone lingers on the palette with a touch of bitter citrus rind.
M - Medium bodied, smooth and a touch of dryness.
O - Nailed the style on this one, super sessionable, balanced bitterness and flavour profile with a superb nose. Another winner in my books!
