This is a wonderful beer! I tasted a juice glass pour of a bomber. There was a nice dark brown presentation with a lasting tan head. The aroma was full of hops, raisins, and biscuit. The warming aroma was rich and engaging. The flavor was remarkable. I will drink this beer again.

Thanks to my awesome gf im able to try some brand spanking new yooper beer from a brewery that recently opened in Copper Harbor, MI.

A&S: Classic toasty, roasty, and chocolate tones to this one. Also a touch of sweetness. Doesn't look all that thick. Similar to their hefe, lots of unfilteredness at the bottom. Head is semi creamy with a half a finger of head, and decreases a little at a time. Beer is a dark brown color.

T&M: mild coffee tones upfront that turns towards a dark chocolate taste and finishes a little bitter and toasty. Definitely some caramel tones to this one also. Very smooth and creamy even without a big body to it.

Overall: super easy to drink, good rep for the style. liked better then the hefe.
