Poured into a custom pint glass: color is black, brown edges, head is tan with fine bubbles and leaves some lacing on the glass.
Smell has notes of roasted malts, chocolate, bitter earthy and grass hops.
Taste is pleasant with flavors of more roasted malt, toasted malt, chocolate and light espresso; earthy/grassy hops; chocolate and sweeter malts remain dominant after a full taste
Mouthfeel is moderate with low carbonation and moderate bitter lingering presence and light lingering sweetness.
Overall a solid porter with a lean towards sweeter chocolate malt.
