A - From tap, deep black color with a dark tan colored head that stayed around for a long time.
S - Not much in the smell department, some hints of coffee and chocolate, but extremely light. Some hints of smoke and wood.
T - Rich taste, some hints of chocolate and coffee, huge showing of dark malts and lots of earty flavor, tastes good. Subtle hints of caramel and even some eartiness, like a rough tone.
M - Not sure if it was the tap, but the beer was extremely cold and almost effervescent, extremely carbonated.
O - Not a bad tasting beer by any means, good dark flavors showing through, but I think it might have been the way it was tapped or a faulty tap system that took away from the experience.
Serving type: on-tap

Had at Krugels Georgetown Deli, as they were the first ever to feature Nimble Hill beers. Thanks for keeping me in the loop Joe!
This beer appeared as dark as a porter should, not black, but dark brown. Creamy, khaki head.
Smell was of nuts, burnt malts, chocolate, and toffee. Hops were also making themselves known.
Flavor followed nose, but this beer was hiding the fact that it was so smooth across the palate, begging for another sip.
Well done Nimble Hill. If all your beers are this good, you've got it made!
