A: Clear dark gold color, thin fizzy white head that dissipates pretty quickly.
S: Sweet smell of caramel malts, slighty sugary. Very faint traces of grassy hops.
T: Mellow, nothing comes off too strong. Malts are there, but not overwhelming which is the same for the hops. Get a slight richness of the malts, but I just can't pick out a dominant flavor.
M: Thin, carbonated - typical english pale ale.
D: Classic english pale ale, I can always drink a Bass. Easy to drink, not complicated at all. Definitely a good beer to have at a pub after work.

Ah, Bass pale ale. Have had it before but never reviewed it. I review this as I'm drinking it. Here goes:
A: One of the best things about the beer. Pours a clear red with a nice, robust head. Can easily see the other side of the glass. The head quickly dissipates, however, but it leaves a lot of lacing (which is surprising for a mass-produced beer).
S: OK, not good or bad but decent nonetheless. Presence of amber malt, minimal hops and English baker's yeast. Like a watered-down English pale ale. Still OK, though.
T: Not bad for what it is. Lightly-kilned amber malts impart a light earthy flavor. There are some hops but they're mild and don't really coat the palate. What's interesting it that you can detect the presence of English baker's yeast, which impart a very bready character on the beer.
M: OK. Bready character coats the palate well but the beer is somewhat light-bodied. Lots of carbonation, though, which is good.
O: A good (but very light and mild) English pale ale. Mild smell, flavors and mouthfeel but a very bready character.
