Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a nonic pint.
Appearance: Pours a beautiful reddish amber liquid with a 3-finger head that gradually dissipates to a haze. Leaves nice lacing along the glass. Very transparent with continual carbonation bubbles.
Smell: Earthy caramel and butter on the nose. Also a little floral hop.
Taste: An interesting and pleasant metallic twang on the front of the tongue followed by sweet malt and very flowery hop bite at the end. A nicely mild and pleasant flavor profile.
Mouthfeel: Easy carbonation and a slight slickness. A little bit sharp, but not in a bad way.
Drinkability: Goes down very easy due to low ABV. A common and simple brew that just hits the spot for me tonight when I don't want anything complicated. I know this doesn't get rave reviews, but I like it a lot. For those days when you don't want an assault on your taste buds, this is a good choice. It's very mild, but yet still tasty.
