Citrus and floral hop flavors dominate this fragrant IPA. Rye malt contributes to a long, dry, finish.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky golden color with a small white head. The aroma has rye, hops and spice. The taste is similar to the aroma.

The Rookery Rye was decent. It poured a hazy orange with white head that left some lace. The scent carried nice pine and citrus. The taste was close to the scent and came off the pallet very clean. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall this is a good beer and worth the try.

12oz can, no apparent freshness date. I attended a wedding in the Rookery building this summer and felt obligated to try this one
A - rocky white head holds good retention, eventually fading to a foam atop a golden colored ale
S - citrus zest, earthy spicy rye, pale malt
T - zesty grapefruit and orange, a bit juicy, rye is spicy & earthy, very light caramel, possible pilsner malt and/or Munich malt
M - medium body, moderate carbonation, finishes very dry from the rye while a zesty bitterness lingers on the palate
O - not a bad rye IPA, but nothing really stood out in my opinion. I doubt I'd get it again.

Appears a light, hazy golden color. Aroma of hops, rye, and some spice. Tastes just like it smells with a citrus finish. Feels a little light and thin. Overall decent.
