Dark chocolate color with a tall, tall head of brown, fills the glass.
Aromas of roast barley, metal, and slight chocolate.
Nice milk stout flavors! Good oatmeal presence, lactose, milk chocolate, and a finish of roast coffee. Delish.
Feel is slightly creamy, but very acidic and roasty, bends towards the harsh astringent side. Roasty finish.
Overall, a decent milk stout I'd probably have again.

I'm trying this at Southport Lanes in the old hood...it poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had hints of decaffeinated coffee. The taste bitter leaning and not easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it's ok.

No dating.
A: Pours black, 1 finger of tan foam. Lacing, quite honestly, is superb.
S: Roasted malt, coffee, that milky aroma the style dictates. More sweet than bitter.
T: Roasted malt, coffee, sweetish milky flavour but succumbs to the coffee and roast.
M: Medium body and carbonation that fits to a tee.
O: I would drink it again if I could get it locally.

Aroma is dark malts, chocolate and mild dark bread. The flavor is dark malts, fruit/dark fruit, chocolate, mild earthiness and a big acidity in the finish.

Freight Handler pours a burnt and charred black with a finger of khaki head. Head retention is fair with a few dots of lacing. Aroma is pungent with notes of smoke, char, toasted malts, and lactose. The smoke here is only a prequel of what's to come. Flavor profile is dark with hearty notes of smoke and peat throughout. The finish is almost entirely smoke. Toasted malts and lactose work to lighten up the flavor profile a little, but the smoke and peat keep this beer grounded in the dark and earthy sector. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a pleasant graininess to it. Overall, would be Burnt City an appropriate name for this beer. It's dark, earthy, and filling for a milk stout, but still well represented throughout.
Served in a 12oz snifter.

Poured out a jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of chocolate and caramel. Sweet chocolate flavors with just a touch of bitterness for balance.
