Silty opaque yellow with no head to speak of despite the uppity carbonation.
Fragrant of orange and coriander, with further tropical fruit nuance and traces of hop spice.
Enters jointly crisp and fruity. Pils(-esque) malt base layered with fuzzy peaches and nectarines. Maltiness expands into sub-caramel and cane sugar sweetness. The bubbly nature of the brew slakes the mouth clean after each sip. Doughy yeast through the midsection. Faint coriander, clove and mushy pepper spiciness, but on the whole, the yeast does not provide the breadth one would expect. Dry herb hop contributions. Some rum cues are (barely) noticed around the swallow. Rides out with a orange creamsicle sensation. Fruity, gently milky and tinged with vanilla.
Medium body, but given levity and drinkability through the rapid, but not intrusive, CO2 levels.
This isn't the grandest of Grand Crus. It's roughly akin to a weizen-Tripel (with, perhaps, a bit of American Wheat Ale tagging along). But on the whole, it's tasty and executed well. No complaints other than its frumpy looks.
