This beer is a merging of two of our favorite styles: India Pale Ale and American Wheat beers. It has n intense floral-citrusy hop bitterness of an in-your-face IPA with the light and refreshing body of an American Wheat beer. A great beer for all of you hop heads!

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a slim transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen bouncing off of particles/floaties in the glass. After the head dissipated, sticky foamy lacing sweeps the glass nicely. The smell starts off with some sweet citrus making an effort to bring some bitterness to surface. Light sweet wheat slides into some caramel malts. The taste was basically the same with a dry semi-sticky caramel malty aftertaste leading into a quick dry semi-sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a dry texture and a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs smooth allowing a sly stickiness to it. Overall, this is a decent American pale wheat ale that I might have again.

L: Opaque, cloudy amber with visible floating sediment, and a small, sticky white head and lacing.
S: Overripe, super sweet, almost rotten mango, papaya, peach, and lychee. Some signature strawberry candy. Lots of bready malt character, slightly toast, with some chewy and grainy dough.
T: Overripe, almost cloying mango, papaya, and rotten yellow peach. Brown bready malt, slightly toasty but clean. Doughy and chewy. Some strawberry candy and bubblegum notes. Finishes fairly clean with a hint of orange peel bitterness.
F: Medium-full bodied, smooth and creamy and almost chewy. A slick, smooth, almost perfect wheat beer body with moderate carbonation.
O: I'm wondering if this can is slightly oxidized. Despite being super fresh, this doesn't smell or taste nearly as vibrant on tap as on draft. Still a good beer, though.

It poured a light golden color, followed by a powerful floral scent. The taste makes the IPA/wheat combo very noticable - a good balance of both, giving it a smooth finish.

This was a really nice surprise.
A cross between an IPA and a wheat beer.
It has the citrusy hop aroma and bitterness of an IPA and
A light crisp mouthfeel and finish of a wheat beer.
Easy drinking.
The 6.5% ABV is hardly noticeable.

Very interesting combination of an IPA and a wheat beer. All of the other reviews on this beer do a really good job of covering the overview of the beer. To me, this beer is an excellent beer for someone who wants the feel of an IPA without the associated bitterness. IPA front that quickly fades to wheat. I am glad I gave this one a shot and I am excited about this brewery.
