Poured into tall thin 16oz glass at Columbia Ale House
A-Pours clear pale orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing.
S-Aroma is biscuit and honey malt, earthy, pine, and citrus hops with pear esters.
T-Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, light malt, fruity esters and a dry finish.
M-Mouthfeel has a medium body and carbonation.
O-Overall a great DIPA witch's great hops and hides high ABV well

Had on tap at Max's during BBW 2013 (from notes, 10/23/13).
A: Light, blonde copper.
S: Excellent and interesting hop profile. Strong smells. Good sign.
T: Full on hop bomb. All pine with a fine subtle aftertaste.
M: Light and full.
O: This is a great IPA and it won Max's blind-tasting for a dedicated brewery tap line for 3 months. Local and fresh.

Excellent Double IPA, enjoyed a couple of months ago at the White Oak Tavern. Local Baltimore brew enjoyed at the end of Howard County Beer week.
A) Coppery appearance with orange tints.
S) Fruity aroma. Jacewg nailed it when he said it smells like Enjoy By. That was exactly what I said when I tasted it.
T) Taste also similar to Enjoy by, hoppy with hints of fruit.
M) Medium body and carb.
O) Excellent DIPA, will be looking for its return

On-tap at The Big Hunt, Washington, DC
A: The beer is clear amber yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a thin white head that died down, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose, along with some notes of tropical fruits.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, except that the tropical fruit flavors are stronger and stand out in front of the citrus. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has lots of tropical fruits in the taste. It feels a little heavier in body compared to other double IPAs and seems like it could use some more hop bitterness to help balance things out, but it masks any traces of alcohol.

Pint poured at their taproom. Pours orange gold with a small white head. Smells of sweet grain with citrusy and piney hops, very inviting and satisfying. Tastes of piney and earthy hops, a little syrupy. Beer is slightly heavily carbonated but still is dangerously drinkable with its medium body. Overall a very good beer.
