More of a hoppy red ale.

Amber bronze in color. Beige head.

Flavor profile is a lot of hops. Cascade. Orange and citrus flavors. Some grapefruit. Fairly fruity. Floral hops.

Mouthfeel: Bitter and a bit sticky.

Overall, this was nothing like an American amber. An awesome amount of hops. Much more like an ipa. I like it.

Single from Casanovas, served in a tulip glass.

Dark reddish orange, saturated color with some suspended sediment in the glass. Billowing tan foam on top, creamy texture and sturdy, lacing sticks around the edges.

Multigrain bread aroma, softly sweet and grainy.

Smooth feel with lightly sweet maltiness, toasted grain, with a low level bitterness in the aftertaste suggesting mild hops. Some light fruity esters from the yeast are present too. The glass disappeared fairly quickly, it is pretty drinkable.

Had to settle for this single, unfrotunately time constraints didn't allow for a brewery taproom visit on a recent trip through Hudson.
