Can at The Sheridan Room, Minneapolis, MN

A: The beer is relatively clear light yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with some lacing on the surface.
S: Light aromas of honeydew melon and green apple Jolly Rancher candy are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of green apple candy and hints of honeydew melons.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but didn't have any overly interesting flavors.

Picked this up in a Third Street Brewhouse sample packs while visiting Minnesota from out of state.

L: Poured with almost no head and very little carbonation. It's not often I drink a beer this flat. Nice hazy color but no lacing and only a few bubbles.

S: Faint hint of fruit and melon, nothing much overall.

T: Did not seem like a wheat beer to me, which I happen to like. I found out I'm not a fan of melons in my beer.

F: Flat and lifeless. Thought it might be out of date but date on bottom of can is 09/29/17.

O: No more melon beers for me, hope the other tastings in the pack are better.

S: orange, spice and wheat with some melon in the background

T: melon and wheat with hints of honey and orange. Finishes with a moderate bitter accent

F: medium body and carbonation

O: a very interesting and refreshing beer

clearly i am in the minority on this one, but i thought this beers was very good, both unique and well executed for what it is, and i reckon its a bit underrated here. a pale wheat beer with honeydew melon. not sure if they added whole fruit, some puree or extract, or exactly what the method is here, but this doesnt taste or feel cheap to me, and the aroma and flavor of the melon comes through beautifully, and very naturally. the dose is perfect, i still feel and taste the light wheat malt first, but the lemon give it this wonderful summer fruitiness and juicy quality that brings out the mellow grassy hop profile in the finish, and the whole thing just feels really genuine to me. the melon is unmistakable in here, and the wheat gives it a nice creamy feeling body to cling to, so i taste it through the whole drink, not just in segments. excellent carbonation from the tap and a drier finish for a fruit beer. the low alcohol is key for all day drinking, and the relative dryness is much appreciated in that context as well. fun stuff from these guys, better than it sounds, and a beer that makes me want to try more melon beers, the integration of it here is outstanding.

Pours a bright golden color with lots of head that quickly dissipates. Has a pleasant scent and you can smell the honeydew. Taste is very smooth but flavor lacks. You can't tell this is a wheat beer at all which is sad. It's an easy drinker but it won't blow anyone away. Lightly hoppy n no flavors really standout. Come on Third Street brewhouse. Step it up.

Hunny Do pours a straw color with a big lacing head. Big natural melon aromas. The taste has a creamy backbone, with big hints of melons. Body is a little light and watery. Overall, a nice summer beer. Stronger melon flavors, but overall lighter.

Pours a hazy yellow gold colour. Smells light and crisp with honeydew melon and apple notes. Tastes like it smells, light, crisp, green apple, melon, honeydew, and very refreshing.
