Appearance: Poured into a pint glass. dark color, stuck to the glass quite nice.

Smell: Toasted malts, caramel, toffee, maybe a little licorice.

Taste: Delivers amazing balance of smooth bitterness. If this beer had a trendy name (pig, hog, mother in law) it would rate higher. Toasted-roasted-smoked malts, caramel, toffee, coffee, molasses, and licorice. This beer is balanced well for a dark IPA.

Drinkability: This beer deserves better overall ratings. Not much of a 3rd Street homer but they make some really good domestic beer with flavor; this is no exception. This should be poured, not drank from a bottle. The flavors are complex, drinkable and delicious.

Good bite , dark flavor. Does not linger in a bad way, smooth finish. Third Street Brew House has a signature taste that I enjoy . You cant go wrong when you pop the tap because they have many varieties that any beer lover can appreciate and have fun with.
