Had on draft in St. Joseph, MN, at Bello Cucina.
A: clear, dark straw color; very creamy head; no carbonation; good lacing
S: smells a bit skunked; yeast, no hops in the aroma
T: thin-bodied; bitter, not sweet; straw-like flavor; alack, are there no finishing hops in this beer?
Not a very good pale ale. I had better success that evening with the Wisconsin-bred Unforgiven (Rush River)

Apricot golden beer with a thick tawny cap of foam that is persistent and laces thickly. Smells of fruit, wheat, malt and a little metallic. Taste is wheat, grain, metallic, lemon, earthy. Light body. Sour aftertaste and finish. Not too impressed by this APA.

Smallish white head quickly settles to a 1/4" froth above a clear honey golden colored beer.
Light citrus light aroma that leans slightly towards sour lemons, but really not much aroma at all.
Light citrus taste, the lemon seems to be gone that was in the aroma, with what I think is a slight maltiness coming through as well.
A very light dryishness to the aftertaste of this medium bodied beer.
This pale ale is on the lighter side but it's still a pretty decent beer to be drinking during Sunday football.

I like the beers label but I think the liquid could be improved.
The beer was golden and clear but lack head retention. I like pale ales to have more hop aroma and bitterness that I found in this one. I get cooked corn - DMS aroma? The beer is slightly sweet up front with an acid bite finish. The texture is slick. It's drinkable, but I wanted some grapefruity hops. Nothing like that here, that I can taste.

This beer came on tap in a pint glass. It was clear gold in colour, and had citrusy and spicy hop notes with a hint of malt. The beer tasted sweet from the malts, but was mostly distinguished by its bitty and spicy hop flavors. This beer seemed good and blended; not overwhelming or too bitter. No distinguishable lingering flavors or aftertaste.
Would I buy this beer again? Probably.
