A bold rye, India Pale Ale with added spiciness from a healthy addition of rye malt, contributes a nice red hue in color. This IPA has a pronounced citrus hop aroma and flavor.

Poured from 12oz can into glass. Stamped info on can looks to be '8014B'.
Cloudy, medium amber colored body. Has several dark particles that mostly sink to the bottom of the glass. Slight off white head mostly exists as an island and ring. Minimal lacing.
Aroma expresses citrus hops and rye spice.
Taste is spicy with the rye malt, and also has a good flavor of citrus hops.
Medium mouth feel. Good carbonation.
This is a standard IPA that is accented with the spicy rye. Rather smooth during the drinking experience.

12 oz can picked up at beginning of October in Nashville. Unreadable/indecipherable date code. Poured into tulip a rusty red colored. When held to light there is an orangish tint. The nose is caramels, candied citrus and rye. Faded hops? Taste is caramel sweet, rye toast, sweet, bitter citrus finish. Slick, chewy mouthfeel.
Overall, it’s an average rye beer for me. It lacks any big rye or hop punch.

Pours a clear copper color with a two finger beige head from an aggressive pour, nice lacing as well.

Aroma is definite spicy rye, some caramel malt sweetness also with some fruity/herbal hop mixture blending with the rye well. Kind of excepting it to be a little hoppier since its an Rye IPA.

Taste is like the nose big rye notes on a caramel malt base. Rye adds some spicy notes hops are more herbal in the finish lightly spicy as well. Cant read the date stamped on the can but his just showed up at the local grocery, either its a little mature or the hop profile they are using just isn't big enough. Not that its bad just needs more umh in the hop department.

Mouthfeel is pretty solid medium with pretty smooth carbonation.

Overall worth a try, might have to retry if I find some cans I can read the date on. Overall like the stuff I have had from Turtle Anarchy.

Can into a tulip appears dark copper in color with off-white cap 2 fingers strong that fades leaving a curtain of lace.

Aroma is clean with a fruity to herbal hoppiness and a toasty rye backing thats a little bready.

Tastes sweet with bready to toasty malt contrasted by an herbal hop bitterness.

Medium in body, modest carbonation. A pretty decent rye beer but as far as IPAs it is a little dated and/or lacking the hop brightness.
