Visited on Aug 29 for dinner and a few brews after a long drive from MSP. Sickies has a nostalgic automobile-based theme which seems like a decent idea for a craft beer joint and it's surprising it's not done more often (this small chain has other ND locations including Sturgis). The tap wall features 50 beers which I'd have to say was well beyond expectations for Fargo including many IPA's, stouts, etc and elusive local selections (how many North Dakota brews have you ever had?). The waitresses are cute and friendly, the crowd tends towards the youngish side. In addition to the standard waitress/bartender ordering system they also have four self-pour taps at your table with a digital counter that tracks your consumption.
One odd thing about this location was that it's next to the "Hub Entertainment District" which features several venues at least one of which is a "Club". So there was a steady stream of folks arriving in the parking lot (some in limos) for some Fargo "Clubbing". I'd guess as a rule Beer Advocates are not "Clubbers" but it was interesting (and amusing) to see people arriving dressed up for their big night on the town in Fargo (I did not see Jay Z or Lindsay Lohan).

Good selection of beers(about 30 on tap). Has an interesting gimmick of 4 taps at the booths so you can serve yourself. It has a garage motif with the serve staff wearing overalls. They even have their own signature beer called oil can stout. I like to go there for lunch or supper because i'm a big fan of freshly fried potato chips. Their sanwiches can be made with ground beef, chicken, or steak. they even have a childrens menu. Not a lot of TV's if you want to watch the big game. A good place for a casual beer and food.
