Imperial Mosaic IPA
Hops climb up twine that’s just loosely tied to the trellis with a half hitch knot—and this Imperial IPA is just loosely tied to tradition. The Mosaic hop imparts surprisingly floral aromas instead of the more expected grapefruit-y notes. On the palate, complex layers of flavors might remind you of guava, mango, stone fruit and lemon, unraveling your idea of what an Imperial IPA should be.

Look: Clear burnt orange with a fluffy and quick-growing head that holds and doesn’t want to settle, eventually succumbing and leaving behind sticky lacing
Aroma: Oh baby. Cannabis notes are the dominant force here along with pine, some blueberry, sugar-coated strawberry, light tropical fruit, and some sweet bready malt
Taste: Berries and tropical fruit jump start the taste buds before quickly being overpowered by waves of Cannabis-laden goodness – herbaceous notes, piney terpenes, skunk, and some fruity dankness. Malt keeps things somewhat together but has great difficulty doing so as this is a legit hop bomb. Closes with strong pine sap and an awesome hop bite
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, medium-high carbonation, and moderate dryness on the finish
Overall: This is a delicious beer. I literally was thinking about how much I loved this but hadn’t seen it in years when I spotted the 4pk at a local spot and dang, was it missed. It is a great Imperial IPA and one that expressed Mosaic in a unique way as it’s such a unique hop when used differently. In this case (beer), a weed bomb to me but not in the diesel-heavy way that ‘dank’ beers or flavors often express, this is more herbaceous, piney, and fruity. The first beer I ever tried from these folks and still a winner. Recommended

This is a tasty and smooth IIPA. Brew date reads 12/9/2019 and I'm enjoying this on 1/14/2020. Snifter glass pour and the nose is very faint. The taste however is very complex. The look and color, are on point. The mouth feel is a little flat for me. Definitely Worth enjoying. Pour cold and taste at different temps. It will pay off

A very different tasting IPA, but so good and drinkable. Not sure even how to describe the difference, other than it was quite different and tasty. Had this at the brewhouse from the tap and sat with Patty,a Christian first grade school teacher who loves beer. So thankful for her encouraging words as we shared life stories and several beers.

A tad hot and boozy, otherwise a juicy Mosaic!

Potent but retains all the right flavour. Slightly sticky on the palette like honey to balance the kick of what appear as muted medley of background hops.

375 ml. Bottle purchased from Trader Joes in Salem OR.
$5.49
Pours a slightly hazy burnt orange with a nice sized bubbly white head.
Massive pine and Seville Orange aromas..almost shocking. Earthy caramel malt.
Taste similar to aromas..but remarkably balanced..pithy fruit dominate.
Great mouth feel smooth for the alcohol strength.
A nice mellow smooth DIPA
