New release, no bottle date but only a week or two old.
A: Pours a clear amber with a big fluffy and effervescent light tan head. Head fades slowly with excellent head retention. Moderate to little slashes of lacing here and there.
S: Nice caramelly sweet citrus. Orange and grapefruit mainly. A little tropical fruit too.
T: Nice punch of sweet citrus and tropical fruit again. Tropical fruit is mainly....mango? Kind of an orange mango grapefruit jumble. Sweetish up front but has a very nice big, big wave of bitterness following in the finish. Hugely bitter and resinous hoppy finish for sure. Almost spicy in a way. Long lingering drying hop resin in the aftertaste with a bit of metallic flavor.
M: Medium bodied, smooth and drying in the finish.
O: Not a bad IPA. Not a huge in-your-face hoppiness up front. Definitely a well balanced east coast style IPA. Nice strong hop flavor and bitterness in the finish spices things up nicely however.

P: Golden/amber, hazy, with white frothy head, huge lacing
A: Sweet honey, malt, citrus, caramel,
T: Mead honey first, lemon citrus, malt, bread yeast. Dank fruit, Earthy.
M: Sticky, medium to heavy bodied, nice balance of citrus, pine and malt. Not quiet as much bitterness as I've come to expect from an IPA let alone s IIPA.
O: Candy. Nice cohabitation between Ska and Brash. A little shy on the bitterness but still a nice IIPA, to bad it's retired.

Caramel malt aromas, earthy hops, traces of resin and citrus. Pours gold with a slight chill haze under a pillowy bone white head that provides thick lace. The beer has a rich malty palate with toffee and graham cracker supported by traces of fruit and balanced by a rich assertive hop bitterness on the finish. Slight alcohol warming on the finish. Very creamy texture.
