Deep copper, honey golden, clear

Not much in the way of aroma. Faint grassy hops and some bready malt.

Sweet caramel malt up front, sugary. Earthy hops, not prevalent. Some bitterness peeks thru towards the end if the pint.

Light watery body. Medium carb.

Malt forward for an IPA. Falls short in aroma and mouthfeel and hop presence overwhelmed by the sweetness. Off-balanced the opposite way of how I would prefer an IPA. More of an APA and to that point, it is well crafted. Would have again but wouldn't seek out.

State College's finest brewery distributing bottles throughout PA I'm excited, deep caramelized malt sugars. Pours a deep caramel ruby almost brown hue, one of the darkest IPAs I've seen in quite some time, light beige head forms fine speckled lacing. Aroma has citrus notes with an earthy dank hop note with background of caramelized malts. Actually a nice balanced hop character earthy citric and hints of pine the hops go great with the bready caramelized malts in this beer, it's not the ideal current modern IPA it's blend of English and American traditions. Mouthfeel overall is impressive slightly slick hop oils roll thick across the palate, a bit heavy with each sip. Overall the drink is doing it's job quite refreshing easy to consume and provides the palate with some nice complexity.

Pours an orange color with a slight haze. White head and a bit of lace. In the nose, bright grapefruit and orange hop scents and some biscuity malt.

The taste is very bitter and citric, which is in trademark IPA fashion. The malt base is caramel like and a bit toasty. Hoppy grapefruit, pith, and pine are all in full force.

Medium bodied, well carbonated feel. Overall, this is a pretty decent IPA. I'd say par for the course.

Perfect clarity on this one. Nice amber brown color. Flavor is okay. Kind of an odd off-taste. After all this talk on the forums about quality concerns, I wish I knew how to better describe what I was experiencing. Anyways. It's a decent IPA. Doesn't seem quite right to me. Oh well. On to the next.

Paid $3.75 for the single. Feel I got ripped off since this is from PA...

A - A very dirty brown color, murky and kind of old ale looking with floaties. Head is pretty good a 1/4 inch that sticks around for a bit. Great lacing.
S - Earthy hops not very bitter smelling. Mostly malty so it could be old.
T - Not bad it's pretty balanced and somewhat bitter but it seems lacing like a pale ale.
M - Relatively smooth light to medium. Easy to drink

Overall their are better cheaper DIPA's I would rather have that are equally as smooth. Pick this up if your paying around 2 bucks for it.

Bottle > Mason Pint

A - Clear gold with a finger of white fizzy head, a few spots of lacing.
S - A little grassy, some spicy hops, citrus zest.
T - Earthy, and spicy hop flavor in this, some grass a little pine, grapefruit.
M - A little wattery but easily drinkable.
O - Decent IPA, would go good with pizza, just kind average.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a brownish/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrusy hops. Taste is not nearly as hoppy as the smell. It is well balanced, more caramel malts than I expected, some hop bitterness, very easy drinking. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall us a solid beer.
