Pours a dark brown with some clarity at the edges. Nose is malty with notes of nutty grains, light herbal hops, and not a whole lot else. Taste is quite hoppy with notes of pine, Sao, and caramel with light chocolate. Mouthfeel is light with moderate carbonation. Overall, this brew is quite herbal with lots of hops. Makes for a nice hoppy brown.

This was a really nice beer at GABF. It made my list of top 25 beers. Unranked but 25 of my favorite beers at the festival (I had about 250 beers over 3 sessions.)
Nice looking brown with cooper tones showing. Nice head it appears.
Smell was perfect for a brown I thought.
Taste was really nice with some earth tones coming in along with some spice.
Overall this beer impressed me with its taste and smell.

This ale comes out a medium brown with a slightly reddish hue when held the light with a medium off-white head. The aroma is moderately malty, nutty, toasty, and a bit buttery, perhaps it is some diacytel, if so it is subtle enough to add to the nose. The flavor is much like the nose, very much in fact, with moderate hop bitterness balancing the malts nicely. The body medium as is the carbonation. Overall a nut brown with a bit of a different subtle flavor profile, I enjoyed this.
