Rich, golden hue that is close to clear - I'd of expected it to be a bit less clean. A bit of chill haze is present with plenty of bubbly action. Bone white head that resides to a thin film sits on top. No lacing to speak of.

Yeast and grains. A tad malty, but otherwise quite boring.

Exactly what one would expect after smelling this: a sub-par graininess and a slightly sour dough chracter. While not readily apparent, there is an ever so subtle lemon character. No notable spices. Very dull.

Best part of this beer. It's nicely carbonated and has a creamy quality. Very light.

This could make for a decent session beer, however, there are plenty of other beers that do to and bring more quality and character to the table.

A thanks goes out to cpolking for this beer. Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some wheat and lemon. Taste is also mild, a bit of lemon and wheat tang, not a lot going on. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall drinks kind of like a wheat lite beer.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a bit of a white head. The head doesn't stay around long, leaving a bit of lacing.

Smell is lemon, with a hint of malt and yeast.

Tastes a bit like it smells, citrus notes, a bit of malt and yeast. Very slight hop bite at the finish.

A bit on the watery side, nothing sticks out here.

Nothing real special here, better than the mass market brews, but could benefit from more flavor. Comes across to me as a bit watered down tasting. what I taste isn't bad, just needs more of it. A nice step up from the big names for a new craft beer drinker, but far from the best of the style I've tried.

Appearance (3.25) : A hard centered pour yields a loosely knit 1 fingered head with a pillowy top. The head recedes pretty quickly. The body is an almost hazy, golden yellow color with about 20% opacity.

Aroma (3.25) : Good combination of malt and hop aroma. I can smell the wheat, and I can smell the paleness of the hops. I can also smell a funky creamed corn adjunct too, however. Bouquet is weak to medium.

Taste (4) : The malt punches through in a good way. Slight bready character. There's also a hint of banana both in the body and in the aftertaste. The hops stay right where they should, on the sidelines but still cheering along. The taste honestly does take the cake for this beer. I wasn't expecting much but it is very decent.

Mouthfeel (3.5) : Pretty watery and carbonated, it ends rather dry and is overall very light bodied.

Overall (3.85) : My second Baraboo beer and I've liked them both. It deserves a try from both craft snobs and average joes. My favorite part was the effervescent banana in the taste and finish. It really added punch and zing to an otherwise traditionally boring (or perhaps linear) style. Worth a try.

A - Poured out a hazy, golden yellow color with a one-finger, white head of foam. It left some sudsy trails of residue on the glass.

S - It smelled of cracked wheat, lemon and other citrus fruits.

T - Nice wheat flavor with some caramel sweetness. Fruity flavor was mostly lemon with a touch of yeasty spiciness.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light bodied ale with a smooth, clean finish.

O - This is an okay wheat beer. An affordable option for HyVee shoppers that are new to craft beer.

Pale soft grainy wheat aroma. Pretty straight forward.
One inch white head settles down with little fanfare and minimal lacing. Slightly cloudy pale straw colored body.
Lightly flavored ale. Again soft wheat with some graininess. Dries out a fair amount. Only hints of hop flavors. Touch of sweetness with a touch of citrus with tartness.
Fullness from carbonation and reasonably soft.
Nothing really wrong with this, just pretty boring. Not quite as refreshing as I'd hoped for. Even my spouse, not a go to beer first beer drinker, stated it was pretty uninteresting.

A very laid-back and light beer. A bit of a bread aftertaste, which is honestly the most dominant flavor in the whole beer.
